European Poker Championship 2011: Casinos Austria Anticipates the Poker Elite from 24 October to 3 November

Satellites in the casinos kick off on 20 August 2011
At the end of October the annual highlight for all poker enthusiasts is taking place at Grand Casino Baden. The Casinos Austria Poker Tour (CAPT) and 22nd European Poker Championship will reach their spectacular conclusion. As every year, this year Grand Casino Baden will provide the splendid setting for the event. Like last year, not only will the European champion in Texas Hold’em No Limit (buy-in € 4000) be determined, but the title in Omaha Pot Limit (buy-in € 3000) as well. And of course the Nations Cup for national teams will also take place again. For this the buy-in is € 20,000. There will also be a large number of other tournaments with buy-ins of between € 200 and € 1000.
This year again it is also possible to qualify for the European Poker Championship in a large number of satellites, and for as low as € 100. On 20 August and 10 September the preliminaries will be taking place at 18.30 in Baden, Bregenz, Innsbruck, Linz, Salzburg, Seefeld, Velden and Vienna. The starting stack is 10,000 points, the level time 20 minutes. For every € 500 in the prize pool one player qualifies for the satellite final. From 1 to 28 August for a bet of as low as €5 a ticket for the preliminary at the casino can be won in the online poker room on win2day.
Registration for all events is now possible with a down-payment of 10% of the buy-in (a maximum of € 200 per tournament.
From 27 to 30 October the European championship title in Texas Hold’em No Limit will be at stake, for the first time with a starting stack of 30,000 points and level time of 75 minutes. The Nations Cup will be carried out on 31 October and 1 November. The Omaha European Championship from 2 to 3 November will conclude the 10-day event.
