In accordance with the provisions of § 25 (1) of the Austrian Gaming Act and the valid licenses issued in Austria, only persons who have reached the age of majority and furnish adequate proof of their identity by presenting official photo identification, and whom management has not prohibited from entering, can be admitted for gaming. The data from the piece of identification is recorded and retained for at least 5 years. If there is any doubt concerning the identity of the guest and/or his or her eligibility for a visit, admission and gaming activity will be denied until the matter has been clarified.
Monitoring the frequency of visits and intensity of playing allows potential risks to be identified. In these cases a credit check is carried out in accordance with the player protection provisions set out in §25 (3) of the Austrian Gaming Act.
If necessary, specially trained members of our staff then meet with the individual concerned and call attention to the risks of gaming and the potential threat to their subsistence. Players are also provided with information on the appropriate counselling institutions.
In individual cases, the casino is required by law to either permanently or temporarily prohibit the person from visiting the casino or to restrict the number of visits if the player lacks sufficient means to continue playing.
At any time and in writing, every guest can request that the number of their visits be restricted or that they be banned entirely.
After the period of the ban has expired, upon request for readmission another review is undertaken to ensure the requirements for visiting the casino are met in accordance with the Austrian Gaming Act.
