Eight poker tournaments - an expected € 500,000 in prize money and a ticket to Las Vegas
From 13 to 20 May 2012 Europe's poker elite and the Casinos Austria Poker Tour are stopping off in Innsbruck. In addition to eight exciting tournament days, there is a very special opportunity on the CAPT agenda this year: you can win a trip to Las Vegas in the Freeroll Tournament on Friday, 18 May 2012. The prize includes a ticket to the main event of the WSOP (World Series of Poker) 2012 in Las Vegas and is worth a total of € 10,000. The top 40 players from the € 250 Bounty Tournament on 13 May 2012 and all participants who have purchased at least three tickets for the CAPT Innsbruck by 16 May 2012 qualify.
Eight days of sheer excitement
Everything in this alpine city is set for the exciting, varied and lucrative CAPT week, the best support for which is provided by Casino Innsbruck Poker Manager Heimo Wartner and his team. In addition to the "Win Your Ticket to Las Vegas" event, the agenda also includes a two-day and one-day Deep Stack Tournament, a Knockout Bounty and the Supersatellite for the main event. All of the games will be Texas Hold'em No Limit. There are also free tickets to win for the opening tournament on 13 May 2012 in the Sit&Go Satellite on 10 May 2012 at Casino Innsbruck.
€ 500,000 in prize money
The main event on the final weekend is a two-day Texas Hold'em No Limit tournament with a € 2000 buy-in. The tournament starts on Saturday, 19 May 2012 at 14.00. Prize money totalling € 500,000 is expected for the CAPT 2012 in Innsbruck. It is still possible to qualify for the main event through Tuesday, 15 May 2012, and to do so for a buy-in of as low as € 2 in the online satellites in the win2day Poker Room. The Innsbruck entertainment programme for the poker players is respectable as well: on Thursday, 17 May the legendary Players' Party will be taking place in nearby Studio 21.
