The charity Krampus run in front of Casino Salzburg's Klessheim Palace benefiting the charity Sonneninsel Seekirchen.
The St. Leonhard Krampus Charity Run
The history of the St. Leonhard Krampusse began in 1990 at 22.00 in the forest of St. Leonhard near Grödig, when two young men were walking through the forest talking about where all they would go on 6 December as St. Nicholas and Krampus. In 1995 the group of strays that went from house to house on 6.12. turned into a proper association. On registering the association it became official, and the St. Leonhard Krampus Pass was born.
Entirely in the character of St. Nicholas, all proceeds to this event will be shared with Sonneninsel Seekirchen!
The event begins at 18.30 with Krampus & St. Nicholas for kids and at about 19.30 the main run will begin. Refreshments will be provided. We look forward to numerous visitors.
