General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the Casinos Austria Online Shop
- General Provisions
All sales of the products and services offered by Casinos Austria AG by way of the services rendered by the information unit (Shop) as well as all business relations resulting therefrom shall be governed by the present General Terms and Conditions (GTC). These GTC shall take precedence over any GTC Customer may employ. The language to be used for all contract matters as well as for ordering and all business dealings shall be German.

- Contractual Relationship
Communications received from Customers shall always be deemed offers to conclude a contract. Casinos Austria AG may accept such an offer either expressly or by implicit agreement, said implicit agreement being constituted by shipment of the items ordered.
- Prices
All prices shown include possibly applicable statutory value-added tax, but are exclusive of any shipping costs (see Clause 7) and handling fees (see Clause 7) set out below. All prices are quoted and invoiced in Euro. Quotations refer to currently valid prices subject to change.
- Tournament Tickets and Jetons
Prepayment tournament tickets:
For all purchases of prepayment tournament tickets ( for gaming tournaments held on casino premises) a 10% prepayment on the tournament ticket price, however a maximum of € 200.- shall be paid. In addition, a handing fee of 3.5% of the prepayment amount will be charged.
Full-price tournament tickets:
With the purchase of full-price tournament tickets (for gaming tournaments held in the casino) a handling fee of 3.5% of the ticket price will be charged.
Buy-in vouchers:
With the purchase of buy-in vouchers (for poker tournaments at the casino) a processing fee is charged in the amount of 3.5% of the price of the voucher.
- Right of Withdrawal
The provisions of the Consumer Protection Act (Konsumentenschutzgesetz, KSchG) shall apply. Customer shall be entitled to withdraw from a contract concluded at a distance, or a contractual declaration made in such a way, within the appropriate period of time. This period shall be fourteen (14) working days excluding Saturdays. In case of contracts pertaining to the shipment of goods, the withdrawal period shall commence on the day Customer takes delivery of such shipments, while in the case of service contracts the relevant date shall be the day the contract in question is concluded.
For the purposes of this clause, dispatch of such a declaration of withdrawal within the aforementioned period of time shall suffice.
In the event of Customer withdrawing from a contract within the stipulated period of time, Casinos Austria AG shall concurrently refund any payments already received to Customer; in such cases, Customer shall be required to return the goods at his own cost.
Customer shall not be entitled to withdraw from contracts pertaining to services if their performance has commenced as per mutual agreement within fourteen working days, starting with the date the contract in question was concluded.
Furthermore, the customer shall general have no right of withdrawal after registering for the gaming tournaments held in the casino. Therefore, the prepayment already paid shall not be refunded.
- Shipping and Delivery
Delivery shall take place by means of the usual shipment methods (by post). Shipping costs are a flat rate of € 3.90 per order.
Should a special shipment method (payment on delivery or express) be selected for an order, any costs exceeding the flat-rate shipping cost shall also be paid by the customer. In this regard it is expressly noted that the shipping costs stated on the bill for special shipment methods (such as payment on delivery) only apply to transport within Austria and various charges may be added per country.
Orders are normally delivered within one week, but in any case within the statutory period of 30 days.
- Retention of Title
Casinos Austria AG shall retain ownership of all goods pending full payment of all related claims. All transfers of goods must be accompanied by an appropriate notice explicitly pointing out the aforementioned retention of title by Casinos Austria AG, the validity of which shall therefore survive any such transfer.
- Privacy
All customer data will be treated confidentially and shall not be disclosed to any third party without proper authorization.
Customer expressly agrees that his personal data such as first name, last name, address, and bank account details will be verified, processed, and stored in order to ensure fulfilment of all the mutual rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship established with Customer. Customer expressly accepts that his personal data will be automatically processed and made available to the performing agents of Casinos Austria AG who will be bound by Casinos Austria AG to comply with the provisions of the Data Privacy Act.
Customer expressly agrees to the addition of his personal data to the Casinos Austria AG customer files and consents to receiving customer information; this consent may be withdrawn by Customer at any time without any formal requirements to be observed. Cookie Use

- Warranties
In the event of legal grounds justifying a warranty claim in accordance with the relevant statutory provisions, remedies for any such claim to the benefit of Customer shall be limited to the replacement of the goods in question. In all other respects, the relevant statutory provisions shall apply.
