Player Protection: 
This time, five football clubs from Lower Austria competed against each other: SV Kirchberg/Walde, FC Mönichkirchen, USVG Großrussbach with both a women's team and a men's team, Casino Baden AC and USV Nappersdorf/K.
As in the previous preliminary rounds, the challenge began with a joint reception – the Captains' Meeting – to warm up. This was followed by the first roulette competition. Some participants displayed nerves of steel until the very end and only found their way to the win in the very last game. The second half flew by with a lot of raw emotion on display at the black jack table, followed by the final round at the poker table.
From the original five-team line-up, the USVG Großrussbach women's and men's teams as well as FC Mönichkirchen were still in the running for the preliminary round victory. In the end, USVG Großrussbach (men) emerged victorious and advanced to the national final round. What was at stake was not money, but tournament chips; it was all about the entertainment and the fun factor.
There are still dates available for teams who'd like to take part in the Casino Cup. Clubs can register at any time. Whoever prevails at the Austrian final in autumn can look forward to a spectacular main prize: the winning team gets to take part in a one-week training camp in the sunny south. The Austrian final of the Casino Cup will be shown as part of an entertaining primetime TV show by PULS 4 in autumn of 2022.
