Accessibility information
Accessible websites enable all people to have equal access to information and actively participate in digital life. They make an important contribution to social inclusion by ensuring that people with different disabilities can access the content and functions of websites without restriction.
To ensure this, special guidelines and standards must be taken into account when designing and implementing websites. These international standards are defined by the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) in the “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines” (WCAG) and divided into three levels of compliance (A, AA, AAA).
WACA is an independent Austrian testing and certification body for web accessibility. The initiative conducts audits according to the compliance levels of the W3C guidelines and awards certificates in three grades: bronze, silver and gold.
Implementation of accessibility
We strive to make our websites accessible and consistently ensure that all our products and services that fall within the scope of the law are accessible.
Status of compliance with requirements
The website complies with the requirements of the Austrian Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz – BaFG).
The following standards and guidelines were applied:
- Harmonised European Standard (EN) 301 549, Version 3.2.1
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Version 2.2, A and AA Levels
This website is partially compliant with Conformity Level AA of the ‘Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.1’ and with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V 3.2.1 (2021-03) due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions.
