The awards for the best achievements in the European casino industry are presented every year, and it was that time again at the recent ICE international gaming fair in London. As with the “Oscars”, the European Casino Awards are presented in a variety of categories. Casinos Austria was among the finalists in no less than four categories and won the “Best Marketing Programme of the Year” award: the Casino Cup proved very persuasive to the jury and prevailed against projects by international competitors.
The Casino Cup, which Casinos Austria launched in early 2022, pursues a number of strategically relevant goals: to create a new gaming entertainment format, thus further strengthening the Casinos Austria brand and inspiring people with the experiences that Casinos Austria has to offer.
Representatives of Austria’s football clubs playing roulette, black jack and poker in the casinos managed to qualify for a brilliant TV game show, which was broadcast in prime-time by PULS 4 in November – as a Green Production. Two of Casinos Austria’s croupiers exhibited their typical competence and charm, contributing to the audience success of this exciting new TV format.
The award and the other three nominations in London serve as a strong confirmation for Casinos Austria that it is “best in class” in the European market. Thomas Lichtblau, Managing Director of Casinos Austria, was delighted to accept the award in London: “With our innovative concept, we held our own against many reputable members of the international casino world. What the international jury particularly liked about our concept was that we addressed a clearly defined target group using classic as well as new touch points and managed to generate a very high reach and media coverage.
