The premiere of the Casino Cup last year came to a close with the brilliant “Ball-in Show” on PULS 4, in which the women’s team of SC St. Veit from Carinthia emerged as the triumphant winner. Who will make it to the final round this year will be decided in the coming weeks – in the participating casinos in Baden and Bregenz. Last year’s winners will compete in Casino Velden to defend their title.
Switching to the “playing field” in the casino is actually quite easy for participating teams: all you need to do is register your team (consisting of at least five people) at puls4.com/casinocup and specify your preferred date in a Casinos Austria casino of your choice. Participation is open free of charge to anyone who plays football on a professional or amateur level, but also as a hobby team or simply a group of friends. Players must be at least 18 years old.
The tournaments in the casinos will take place in the period from August 15 to October 15. Registration is possible until October 8, so even if you decide quite late, you still have a chance. How do the tournaments work? Participants complete five rounds of the classic casino games roulette, blackjack and easy hold’em poker, which are played with casino chips, not real money. At the end of these rounds, the total score is calculated based on the points scored. Each team can compete twice on different dates, with the better score being used in the scoring.
To determine the 2023 Casino Cup Champion, two primetime TV shows are scheduled for next December, to be broadcast on PULS 4 and streamed on Austria’s free super streamer Joyn – with the ingredients that already thrilled audiences in 2022: the final teams will demonstrate their football skills and master exciting challenges. Celebrity guests will once again be on hand to support the players.
Whoever stands at the top of the podium at the end will not only win the fame of Casino Cup champion, but also a spectacular main prize: a football party worth 20,000 euros! Details of the prize are available on casinos.at.
