This February 20, the time for the CAPT kick-off in Seefeld has come once again: time to “play poker until the snow melts”. The winter sports paradise will also feature a varied supporting programme during the tournament week. This means that the poker tables at Casino Seefeld offer everything your heart desires, as well as an opportunity to explore the most beautiful ambience imaginable in the midst of the snow-covered mountains of Tyrol – including all the possibilities that Seefeld has in store for Nordic and Alpine skiers.
For this year’s CAPT Seefeld, Casinos Austria has come up with a special attraction to combine poker fun with winter sports: a curling event will be held on February 23 for all registered CAPT participants. In case you’re wondering, this can also be completed with normal winter shoes and won’t present too much of an athletic challenge. The competition also offers a chance to win one of four tickets for the Snow Festival event in the value of € 550.
Tournament start and 2024 CAPT Seefeld
The entire tournament week is packed with a varied poker programme. The CAPT Seefeld will kick off with starting day 1A on February 16 at Casino Bregenz, followed by starting day 1A at Casino Vienna on February 18, before continuing at Casino Seefeld on February 23 with the three-day Poker Snow Festival in Texas Hold’em No Limit. The Texas Hold’em No Limit, Pot Limit Omaha and Bounty tournaments are scheduled as follows: the € 3,000 + 300 Highlander Event will take place from February 27 to 28, while the final Texas Hold’em No Limit Main Event will be held from February 29 to March 3 (buy-in: € 2,000 + 200). You can directly qualify for it at the satellite tournaments in Casino Seefeld.
As in previous years, Casinos Austria is expecting sold-out tournaments and cash game action at all limit levels. The expected prize money for the entire event is 1,500,000 euros.
