That is the day when Casino Innsbruck and Casino Seefeld will embark on a shared path in order to create a strong synergy between the two casinos. The management and responsibility of the two casinos in the west of Tyrol will be in the hands of Managing Director Martin König.
A competent successor
Martin König, a native of the town of Landeck, has been working for Casinos Austria since 2005. Immediately after completing his university studies, his career took him from Casino Innsbruck via Casino Kitzbühel to Seefeld, Tyrol’s high plateau. König can look back on seven years of management experience in a wide range of company positions. Most recently, he was responsible for the management of Casino Seefeld for four years. His leadership style is marked by strong values such as honesty, authenticity, appreciation and determination.
“My predecessor Robert Frießer continued to move Casino Innsbruck forward even in such difficult times; I’m very proud to be able to follow in his footsteps. I’m particularly pleased that, in addition to Casino Seefeld, I will be able to work at Casino Innsbruck once again, which is where my career at Casinos Austria began. With the new synergy between the two casinos, I see great potential for even more exciting campaigns, competitions and promotions, which will now be offered to guests in both establishments.
We’re aiming to create special moments of excitement and pleasure for our guests in the diversity of both casinos, respond to their individual preferences and wishes, exceed their expectations and highlight the fun and fascination of a casino visit,” says the newly appointed dual Managing Director.
Born in Seefeld, Robert Frießer had worked for Casinos Austria since 2001. He was appointed Managing Director of Casino Seefeld in 2014. His broad experience in the casino business is based on various positions in the administration and controlling areas that he held over the course of time. In March 2018, he was entrusted with the management of Casino Innsbruck. Robert Frießer is leaving the company of his own volition and is devoting himself to new endeavours in the private sector with immediate effect.
“I had 22 fantastic years at Casinos Austria. Now that I’m 51, I think it’s a good time to explore a new direction. I’m convinced that Martin König will be a great successor, and I wish him every success,” Robert Frießer said.
