Casinos Austria wishes everyone a wonderful festival season at the Bregenz Festival

Starting the day after tomorrow, Giacomo Puccini’s “Madame Butterfly” will once again be a special highlight of the Bregenz Festival’s cultural summer programme.

This year Casinos Austria once again serves as the main sponsor of the diverse festival programme, consisting of operas, musical theatre and comedy performances. Since the company was founded in 1968, Casinos Austria has been a sustainable and reliable partner to numerous institutions and projects related to art and culture in Austria and has already extended its main sponsorship of the festival until 2024.

As leading domestic companies, our twelve Austrian casinos and their offerings bring added value to many regions and thus contribute to value creation to an extent that goes far beyond their own turnover. They stand for fascination and excitement and thus for emotions that visitors to the Bregenz Festival also get to experience.

Casinos Austria Director General Erwin van Lambaart had this to say on the common ground between the partners: “Every year, the Bregenz Festival proves that it’s open to new directions. One of Casinos Austria’s particular aims is to be active in the field of social policy in and for Austria, for example with the “Happy Moments” initiative launched at the beginning of the year together with Austrian Cancer Aid: as part of this cooperation, 30 Bregenz Festival tickets were given to cancer patients, to allow them to be able to experience joyful moments and a touch of lightness in their stressful situation and to help them gain strength, hope and confidence.
