Carl Maria von Weber’s opera “Der Freischütz”, which became an audience favourite in the summer of 2024, is once again raising anticipation for emotionally charged summer nights against the unique backdrop of Lake Constance. Tradition and innovation are perfectly blended to guarantee entertainment of the highest standard for all visitors. Casinos Austria has an impressive, inspiring inclusion project that was launched at the Burgtheater in Vienna in 2023 and, due to an overwhelming response, will celebrate its premiere in Bregenz on July 28 with the house opera “oedipe”: With this initiative, Casinos Austria enables blind and visually impaired adults to enjoy cultural events in an inclusive manner by providing programme booklets in braille and live audio descriptions that bring the action on stage to life.
In addition, as a long-standing partner of Austrian Cancer Aid, Casinos Austria is providing a generous allocation of free tickets for the Bregenz Festival – as well as for other well-known cultural institutions – which will be distributed by Austrian Cancer Aid to patients already receiving care.This initiative, called “Glückliche Augenblicke” (“Happy Moments”), gives cancer patients a pleasant cultural break from their everyday lives of struggling with their disease, which they would otherwise not be able to afford.
In addition, members of the Casino Austria Members Club receive a 13% discount on tickets for “Der Freischütz”, excluding premieres, guided tours and external events.
