Casinos Austria honoured as Europe’s best casino operator at the European Casino Awards

At the European Casino Awards in London yesterday, Casinos Austria was crowned the winner in the “Best Multiple Casino Operator” category among European casino operators with multiple locations.

Every year, the European Casino Awards honour the best representatives of their industry in various categories spanning the areas of products, casino operators and industry standards. Submissions are professionally curated before they can be shortlisted for the respective award. Subject to the required criteria being met, the entries and nominations then enter the decision-making phase. Each entry is reviewed by an anonymous jury of independent industry experts who decide on the finalists and winners in each category.

Erwin van Lambaart, Director General of Casinos Austria: “As a casino operator, we stand for the highest standards in all areas, meaning that our guests, players and customers as well as their safety and well-being are our highest priority. That’s why this award as “Best Multiple Casino Operator” at the European Casino Awards is a wonderful recognition of our achievements, for which I would also like to thank all our employees for their professional commitment. It also shows that our employees are absolutely committed to our guiding principle of “Playsponsible – Practicing Responsibility Together”.

Thomas Lichtblau, Managing Director of Casinos Austria, added: “For us, this award from the experts and industry insiders on the jury is a valuable confirmation of our strategic repositioning and the development we’ve undertaken in recent years as an Austrian casino operator. These requirements are simply indispensable for us as a licensed gaming company. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our entire team once again.”

The award is due in particular to the responsibility and high standards in the realisation of gaming operations at all twelve locations, spanning correct game processing, active anti-money laundering management, high data protection compliance and the highest security standards for all players.
