How do I get to Casino Wien by car?

Casino Wien is centrally located in Vienna’s city centre at Kärntner Straße 41, 1010 Vienna, between the State Opera House and Stephansplatz.

If you’re travelling by car, you can reach the city centre via the following main routes:

From the west (A1 Westautobahn): Take the A1 to Vienna and then either head directly towards the city centre or take the A21 and A23 towards the centre. From there, you can reach
Casino Wien via the Kärntner Ring near the Vienna State Opera.
From the south (A2 Südautobahn): Take the A23 and the Ringstraße towards the centre.
From the north (A22 Donauuferautobahn): via Praterstern, Franz-Josefs-Kai and the Ringstraße to the Opera House.

As Kärntner Straße is predominantly a pedestrian zone, direct access to the Casino is limited. Car parks are located in the immediate vicinity of the Casino.

Casino Wien is centrally located in Vienna’s city centre and is very well connected to the public transport network.

Underground:

U1 or U3 – Stephansplatz: approx. 5 minutes’ walk along Kärntner Straße towards the Opera House
U1, U2 or U4 – Karlsplatz: approx. 5–7 minutes’ walk along Kärntner Straße towards the city centre

Tram:

Lines 1, 2 and D: Oper / Karlsplatz stop – then approx. 2–5 minutes’ walk

Bus:

Line 59A: Oper stop
