Roulette is likely to have originated in China 2000 years ago as a game of religious character which helped predict one’s destiny. Having arrived in Europe, it provided philosopher Blaise Pasqual with incentives to develop his theory of probability. Today there are two types of games in existence. The rules are the same for both, but American Roulette is played faster. Here the winning number is indicated with a small metal marker called a “dolly.”
When the well-known phrase "Rien ne va plus!" or "No more bets!" is called out all bets have to have been placed. Tossed in the opposite direction the cylinder spins in, the ball falls on a certain number. You can determine the risk yourself with various betting options. On the display behind the roulette table you also see the numbers that have frequently or rarely (hot or cool numbers) turned up in the last games.
