Terms and Conditions for the Lucky Wheel Quiz

VENUE & DURATION OF THE PROMOTION

The promotion will take place at the Electric Love Festival in the vicinity of the Casinos Austria Lucky Wheel (Ferris wheel, branded by Casinos Austria).

Participation in the quiz and redemption of the voucher are only possible during the period

from 9 July up to and including 11 July 2026,

during the respective opening hours of the Casinos Austria Lucky Wheel at the festival site.

PRIZE

Participants who meet the requirements set out in these terms and conditions are entitled to

one (1) free ride on the Casinos Austria Lucky Wheel.

The standard price per ride is € 5.

The prize is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash and can only be redeemed during the promotion period. Participation in the Casinos Austria Playsponsible Quiz is a prerequisite for claiming the prize.

PARTICIPATION IN THE QUIZ

Participation takes place via your own smartphone and only within the specified promotional period.

The quiz consists of 5 questions. Anyone who answers at least 3 questions correctly will immediately receive a ‘voucher’ for the free spin on their smartphone.

Only one (1) entry to the quiz per person is permitted during the promotional period.

To enforce this rule, the IP address of the smartphone used will be stored. Further information on this can be found in the ‘Privacy Notice’ section.

REDEMPTION PROCEDURE AND ALLOTMENT

The voucher can only be redeemed on site at the Casinos Austria Lucky Wheel by promotional staff.

They will verify eligibility and, if a prize is won, credit the free ride to the winner’s cashless payment wristband (= payment method at the Electric Love Festival). Between the start and end of each hour during opening hours, a maximum of 50 free rides are available.

These are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the time the voucher is validated. If the quota for a particular hour has already been exhausted, the voucher remains valid (until the end of the promotional period at the latest) and it is the winner’s responsibility to redeem the voucher within the promotional period.

The voucher can only be redeemed once and loses its validity immediately upon redemption. A fully functional smartphone and a sufficient mobile data connection are required to use the voucher. The organiser accepts no liability for network coverage, reception or availability on site.

ELIGIBILITY

All visitors to the Electric Love Festival are eligible to take part. Employees of Casinos Austria AG and any partner companies involved in the promotion are not eligible to take part.

By taking part in the quiz, participants accept these terms and conditions as binding. No right of appeal exists.

Casinos Austria AG reserves the right, without giving reasons, to suspend or terminate the promotion during the promotional period, or to exclude visitors from taking part, in particular in the event of breaches of these terms and conditions.

LIABILITY

The liability of the organiser, its governing bodies, employees and vicarious agents — with the exception of personal injury — for damages arising from or in connection with this promotion, regardless of the legal basis, is limited to cases of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty.

The organiser accepts no liability for missed opportunities to redeem prizes, in particular where quotas have been exhausted, waiting times arise, technical faults occur, network availability is restricted, or there are disruptions due to weather or terrain conditions.

Casinos Austria AG accepts no liability for missed chances of winning.

CHANGES, INTERRUPTIONS AND FORCE MAJEURE

The organiser reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the event prematurely for good cause — in particular in the event of force majeure, for safety reasons, due to official orders or other circumstances beyond its control — without this giving rise to any claims on the part of the participants.

Cases of force majeure include, in particular but not exclusively, extraordinary natural events, epidemics or pandemics, as well as corresponding official bans or restrictions.

PRIVACY NOTICE

Information regarding the processing of participants’ personal data can be found in the privacy policy available at https://www.casinos.at/en/privacy-statement.

To enable participation in the prize draw, the casinos store the following personal data: socio-demographic details regarding gender and age, collected in predefined age groups. An exact date or year of birth does not need to be provided. In addition, the IP address of the smartphone used is processed solely to ensure that each participant enters only once and to prevent abuse. This enables the casinos to determine the winners. The data processor responsible for hosting and organising the competition is bytebased Studio FlexkapG, Landstraßer Hauptstraße 173–175/8/18, 1030 Vienna, Austria. The casinos will only use the data in accordance with all applicable national and European data protection regulations.

The data required to identify the winners is processed for the purpose of fulfilling the contract in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, treated as strictly confidential and deleted 30 days after the competition has ended. For statistical analysis, we also process anonymous, aggregated data that is no longer personally identifiable.

Each participant is entitled to request, in writing, information regarding which personal data is stored by the casinos; they may, on the basis of data protection regulations, request both the rectification and the erasure of personal data (both by E-Mail to service@casinos.at).

MISCELLANEOUS

Legal recourse is excluded. Austrian law shall apply, to the exclusion of any conflict-of-law provisions and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Should any individual provisions of these terms and conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
